The Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) resumes its International Study tour on 23-27 October 2023 in Singapore.
With the title Merlions, Libraries, and Everything in Between, this study tour aims to expose PAARL members and other interested participants to the best practices of top libraries and cultural institutions in Singapore.
Specifically, participants will :
- acquire knowledge about the latest trends and developments in libraries in Singapore;
- learn more about programming in libraries and cultural institutions; and
- foster collaboration and network with peers in Singapore.
With an all-in price of US$1,253.00 (or ₱71,421.00), participants will get to visit well-known Singaporean university and public libraries (National University of Singapore Library, Nanyang Technological University Library, Library@Orchard, etc.), other cultural institutions (National Library Board of Singapore, National Museum of Singapore, etc.), and tourist spots (Madame Tussaud’s, Little India, etc.). Other tour inclusions are:
- Registration fee, certificate, and travel kit
- PAL Round trip Economy Flight (+20kg check-in baggage allowance and in-flight meal)
