CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: 2026 PAARL FELLOWSHIP GRANT
The Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc. (PAARL) is officially inviting applications for the 2026 PAARL Fellowship Grant to attend the 90th IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) 2026 in Busan, South Korea this coming 10-13 August 2026.
Two (2) successful applicants will receive a grant amount of PHP 15,000.00 each to support their attendance at this premier global conference.
HOW TO QUALIFY
- 2026 PAARL Active Member
- Five (5) consecutive years of PAARL Membership in Good Standing
- Currently employed in an academic or research library
- Priority is given to first-time applicants and to those who have not received any PAARL grant
PRE-REQUIREMENTS
- Application letter with attached invitation/program of the conference
- Confirmation of Registration for the conference
- Flight booking details
**Upon successful selection, a notarized affidavit certifying that he/she has not been a previous recipient of any PAARL grant, and that should any misrepresentation be found later, the grant shall be forfeited and the cash benefits, whichever is higher, shall be returned to PAARL.
POST-REQUIREMENTS - Grantee must submit a report and/or conduct an echo seminar upon his/her return from the conference

Important Note: Evaluation and selection of applicants will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Don’t wait until the last minute to submit!
