PAARL invites you to its 2024 ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ฒ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ with the theme โ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ง๐: ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐๐ซ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐ฌโ, to be held on 26-27 September 2024 at De La Salle University Libraries. Our resource speaker is Mr. Napoleon A. Apolinario Jr., a certified Project Manager/Business Process and e-Learning Consultant. On the second day, Mr. Simon de Leon will share his own experience with applying Project Management theories in his library.
This activity was granted a maximum of 7.25 CPE points.
This two-day seminar aims to:
- Enhance your skills in project management and learn how successful projects can elevate your library’s impact. We’ll dive into why projects are crucial for libraries and break down the five key project management process groups: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and project closing.
- Explore essential planning techniques like product analysis, stakeholder and risk management, project scoping, scheduling, and more!
- Engage in hands-on practice with essential tools like project charters, work breakdown structures, Gantt charts, and the critical path method, and delve into project management best practices so we can build the confidence to lead successful library projects from start to finish!
Registration fee: PhP 3,000 for PAARL members, and 3,500 for non-PAARL members. The fee is inclusive of workshop kit and meals (1 AM snacks, 1 lunch and 2 PM snacks). All participants are required to bring a laptop.
