(PAARL) resumes its International Study tour on 23-27 October 2023 in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gtfy-7\">With the title <strong>Merlions, Libraries, and Everything in Between<\/strong>, this study tour aims to expose PAARL members and other interested participants to the best practices of top libraries and cultural institutions in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large gtfy-10\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/paarl.org.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/1-1-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-826\" srcset=\"https:\/\/paarl.org.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/1-1-1024x1024.png 1024w, https:\/\/paarl.org.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/1-1-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/paarl.org.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/1-1-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/paarl.org.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/1-1-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/paarl.org.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/1-1.png 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gtfy-13\">Specifically, participants will : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list gtfy-19\">\n<li class=\"gtfy-16 gutenify-list-item\">acquire knowledge about the latest trends and developments in libraries in Singapore;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gtfy-17 gutenify-list-item\">learn more about programming in libraries and cultural institutions; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"gtfy-18 gutenify-list-item\">foster collaboration and network with peers in Singapore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"gtfy-22\">With an <em>all-in price<\/em> of US$1,253.00 (or <strong>\u20b171,421.00<\/strong>), participants will get to visit well-known Singaporean university and public libraries (National University of Singapore Library, Nanyang Technological University Library, Library@Orchard, etc.), other cultural institutions (National Library Board of Singapore, National Museum of Singapore, etc.), and tourist spots (Madame Tussaud&#8217;s, Little India, etc.).
